Staying Strong In Chaotic Times

Staying Strong In Chaotic Times

I’m focused on keeping my energy in check. Im stepping up my spiritual practice and my ancestor chats because they're the only ones that can tell me what's real and what's not. With everyone doom scrolling and fear sharing, it's just too much to discern. I wanted to share with you the tools im using to help me navigate this moment, other then taking a break from social media.

First im leaning into  White baths for purity and protection. They help your aura stay clear and cool so that the energy of the collective doesn't stick to you. Im always talking about walking, because it's the easiest way to get your self moving without exerting yourself , but Nature walks to stay grounded! Being in nature helps remind us of the simplicity and reciprocity in life, allowing us to learn and be in a space that guides us to the next one.  Community, we can’t do this alone. Tap in with your people, have real conversations, and hold each other down. Together we have access to all the tools we need to get through the next few years. Create your list of community members you have access  to what are their specialties and what could you offer them in exchange. Reach out to them and create safety plans and community agreements.

Now let’s talk about adaptogens, the holy grail for the next few years, nature’s way of keeping us balanced.  My favorite ( and my kids favorite ) Ashwagandha keeps your stress levels low. Taking it at bedtime can help relax you and allow you to wake up feeling restored and ready to conquer the day. Its like hitting the reset button your cortisol levels. That can help you loose a little belly fat too . Now can you understand why it's my favorite?

Then there is Rhodiola , that boosts your energy. Sometimes life just can beat you up and you can feel drained no matter what. This plant helps you focus on your tasks and have the energy to complete them from start to finish. No more feeling like you dont have the energy to practice self care! Holy Basil another crowd fave,  keeps your mind calm. It's a perfect plant to sip in a tea to keep the edge off . The bonus is that it taste amazing. Lastly I reccomend Reishi mushroom, it  builds up your strength and helps you adapt to environmental stressors, because sometimes it's really just some shh in the air, food and water!

These tips will help us be able to deal with all the stuff going on. Not that it makes you impermeable to the stress it just helps you be able to recover from the bullcrap. Protect your energy. Stay grounded. And let’s handle this madness with clear minds and full hearts.
